Kim So-hee, who first caught the public’s attention with her exceptional dancing and singing abilities as the runner-up on “K-pop Star 6” and later became the visual member of girl group ALICE, has made headlines with her announcement of marriage and retirement from the entertainment industry.
In 2016, Kim So-hee appeared on “K-pop Star Season 6 – The Last Chance,” where she earned high praise from the judges and secured a second place. Judge Park Jin-young acknowledged her talent, stating, “So-hee is definitely the ace of this stage” and “She’s number one in dancing this season.” Subsequently, in 2017, she debuted as the main vocalist and main dancer of the five-member girl group ALICE. Although she garnered attention for her outstanding performances and lyrical vocals, the group struggled to achieve mainstream success due to lengthy hiatuses and insufficient marketing from their agency.
